I too got a 7.5 band score in the Speaking Section of the IELTS exam last month,and an Overall Band score of 7.5 aswell. As I can recollect, my way of answering was quite similar to that of this candidate, which is quite impeccable in my opinion. Thus, I was expecting a Band score of 8, quite similar to what most people believe here like I do, that this lady here deserved a Band score of 8. However, 7.5 isn't bad though, to be honest. It's about getting the desired score afterall. ππ― My requirement for the PLAB examination is an overall band score of 7.5, with atleast a 7 in each of the 4 sections of the test, and you all will be glad to know that this(7.5) is the score demanded by the pristine universities like Cambridge or any University of the Ivy League. In a nutshell 7.5 is the highest demanded score for even the best universities across the globe. ππ»π―
